This presentation of ancient civilizations begins with the cuneiform writing of the Sumerians and ends with the fall of Rome. Historical summaries present the featured events by geographical region: Mesopotamia, Palestine, Greece & Eastern Europe, Rome & Western Europe, Egypt & Africa, India and South East Asia, China and Central and West Asia, North & South America.

The "History in Action" summarizes the events as they occurred chronologically. This packet includes materials to assemble a time line chart (11X28 inches) that covers the years from 4000 BC to the present. The chart folds to fit into a three ring binder. Miniature illustrations (also included) can be added to this Corridors of History chart. A card stock page of dates and a principle-based study guide are also a part of this packet.
